I wonder if the know the owner of a lab I have heard about. His house backs
onto a golf course, and the lab has developped the habit of, if golf balls
land near their yard, picking them up and dropping them in the pond across
the fairway from the house.

Div's parents had been thinking about getting a second dog, but they
recently bought a house, and Div's had an inner ear infection that was a
bear to treat, so they thought they'd wait a little. But, no harm in
looking while they're waiting, right? Mom emails dad a picture of a
cute puppy that is in the same rescue they got Div from. Following day,

from the Petco next door. Guess what? Adoption day. And the cute
little puppy is there. The rest, as they say, is history.
