There isn't any correlation between
origin and accomplishment.
EmilyS

You said 'ahem'; I say 'amen'.
I met Leri while waiting for Hilde, the ancient GSD, to take her CGC.
"She won't pass!" I wailed. "Her 'stay' isn't good."
"Rehearse." Leri said. "Put her on 'stay'."
I did, and when Hilde bunched herself to rise, Leri hooked a finger
around her collar. After a couple of tries, Hilde gave up.
"It won't last," Leri said. "But it'll last through her test."
She was right on both counts.

A lot of shelter Pit Bulls with
sterling temperaments end up
dead, too.

The determining factor is the
testing, not the origin.

The determining factor is the
dog, not the origin. Good dogs
are where you find them. And
you can find more than enough
good Pit Bulls in shelters to
blow away any breeder's
propaganda that suggests
you need to get a registered
dog to get good temperament.
