snip it's also uncool how they just have to say that the hero was a breed "also known for vicious attacks". Very true. It was totally unnecessary. but still, overall, i'm glad missy saved the day I bet you're not the only one! *grin* -- -Andrea Stone Saorsa Basenjis http://home1.gte.net/res0s12z/ The Trolls Nest - greenmen, goblins & gargoyle wall art www.trollsnest.com |

Can't resist. We just adopted two of our 'vicious Pit Bulls'. We, too, have had a spate of genuinely competent and responsible people coming in to look at some of our bull breed dogs. Where've they been all these months!?!?!?! Oh well, better late than never... Oh, and that was a gratifying story to read. I've long felt that the only thing GOOD thing about the fighting ability of Pit Bulls is that some Pit Bull or other might one day prove useful in a situation like this. Of course, the situation (a) should never have happened in the first place and (b) might have been dealt with better had more experienced people been around to deal with it. But in the heat of an out-of-control emergency, with no better solution in sight and time severely of the essence, Missy came through against two dogs that were both no doubt bigger than her. Good for Missy. JohnR Pit Bull Libertarian Never sneer at the power of a little pink squeaky toy! |

We, too, have had a spate of
genuinely competent and responsible people coming in to look at some of our bull breed dogs. Where've they been all these months!?!?!?! Bulllyphilia seems to be like an infection with a long incubation period. After it takes hold, people seem to be willing to make all kinds of sacrifices. John, I think of you often when we have questions. There's no .... competent, ...organized (?) rescue at hand. I just found a woman, not too far away, who breeds and rescues. Hear good things about her. Just invited her to visit our two remaining PBs. |
