"Sandgroper" wrote in message u... "Charlie Wilkes" wrote in message ... Yes, it's silly. But, no matter how many times the facts are brought to light, a few stubborn Australians continue to insist the wa. hierarchy belongs to them. I reckon that the whole thing boils down to the fact that you Yanks can't stand the idea that a newsgroup like wa.general was created for some other country instead of the "Good o'l US of A" , eh Boofhead. :P actually, i didn't even know they had electricity in West Ozzieland, let alone computers. i'm a bit stunned there's been such a response. -kelly |

Aust has one of the highest percentage of computer ownership / internet connections for the home user anywhere in the world and we also have a consistent and good supply of electricity , no brown-outs or black-outs , not like the problems you have in the states , especially California. Maybe it's time you got a new encyclopaedia instead of using the one written by Patton in the 1940s telling everybody how **he alone** won WW2 with a few rubber bands and a piece of string. Also aust has one of the highest ownership of mobile (cell ) phones in the world. -- Sandgroper ----------------------------------- Remove KNICKERS to Email |
