Paw is a little red ??

Hello all,

I have a 2 year old male yellow lab and recently I've noticed his front
right paw looks red and irritated. The two middle "toes" and red and it
looks irritated when I look between the toes. Is there anything you guys and
gals could suggest or should I just take him to the vet and have the vet
check it out?

I first noticed it about a week ago and it actually looks a little worse
(more red) now.
