I have 2 dogs that are on Sentinel 51-100lbs Flavor Tabs. I have a
male American Bulldog named Sully who is almost 100lbs and a female
Rottweiler named Corey who is 103lbs and they were both born on March
18, 2003 and are 18 months old.

What should I give my 103lb Rotty b/c she is over 100lbs, and I can't
seem to find any preventatives for dogs over 100lbs?

As Hillary commented, isn't your vet the best one to be talking to this
subject? That being said, you definitely need to supplement heartworm
prevention when the dogs go over 100#. My understanding with Sentinel is
that you kind of max out on the program dose at 100#, so you should
supplement the one over 100# with Interceptor. Basically you just add the
pounds together, so for a dog between 101-110#, you give the 51-100# plus
the 0-10# size.

Is Sentinel a good preventative against Heartworm, Fleas and other
worms?

Depends on where you are and what your exposure is fleas. Sentinel is
good for heartworms and other intestinal worms, but it doesn't kill adult
fleas, just sterilizes them. If you take your dogs out a lot, and live in
an area where you see fleas and ticks, I'd think you'd be better off with a
product like Frontline to control fleas and ticks. Then you'd just use
Interceptor or Heartgard or whatever for the heartworm and intestinal worm
component.

We are located in East Rochester, NY. I bring my pupz to the park a
lot and there are many other animals there like dogs and horses.
There are also a lot of cats and dogs in my neighborhood. They are
always kept up to date w/ all their shots. I just want to make sure I
am giving them the correct medz to protect them.
