Well, here's a dumb question. How would most people ask a dog to:

Come
Sit
Lie Down
Sit Up (Beg)

in Spanish?

I've got a new little foster, cute as a button, well cared for, already
housetrained. She is so much in accord with what her owner noted when
she was surrendered that I am baffled by the following. Surrendering
owner said the dog knew to sit, lie down, and beg on command. That's
awfully specific; if she'd just said "is trained" or "well-behaved" I'd
assume she was just building the dog up as adoptable.

I haven't been able to elicit a sit, a down, or a sit-up from this
basically well-behaved little girl. And she has no recall whatsoever.

No biggie, I don't mind teaching her from scratch; but it occurs to me
that I haven't tried Spanish. I can find dog command vocabulary in
German, Czech, and Magyar but so far no Spanish. I've got a funny
feeling that there are more Spanish speakers in my area than there are
German, Czech, or Magyar speakers...

No, I can't ask the previous owner. The specific information is what was
written down when she was turned in at the pound.
