Tonight the National Geographic Channel is rerunning the
episode of "World's Apart" in which a New York family is
sent to a tiny village in India.

Thank you! I'll let you know what I think of it. Chances are that they
reacted just about the same way as I would've if tossed into that situation.

What time? I definitely wanted to see that. I am not certain I get
the NG channel though but will check it out.

I dunno - how surprised and annoyed would you be to discover
that yoga involves meditation? Having seen a bunch of these
now, I think that even though I liked the episode this was
my least favorite American family and possibly my least
favorite host family. I really didn't like the Malaysian
episode but that may have been a squeamish reaction to the
carnage. On the other hand, both the Mongolia episode and
the Kenya episode were very fabulous all around.
