Default I'm Going to an Ian Dunbar Seminar!

http://www.puppyworks.com/events/dunbar/id0504fl.html

I've already registered. Woohoo! If I stay with my husband, it's right down
the street (from here it's over an hour's drive). That price is doable, and
it's enough notice to plan my schedule around it. I am SO psyched.

Hey, Leah! I just noticed this post. I see nobody bothered to
respond. Perhaps they emailed you privately. Or maybe they are just
weary of all your attention-gathering stunts, eh? But I'd be very
interested in hearing about your experience at this seminar.

Oh, I'll post all about it. I've talked to other trainers who have attended
one of his seminars, and they say he's very good.

And no, there were no comments. :}

Yeah. Well, the seminar isn't until May. Are you going to attend all
four days? I'd be very interested in the part about dog aggression,
since that's my pet worry.

I just ordered a set of four videotapes by Dunbar. He seems to be one
of the top dogs in the dog-training world. I plan to spend some time
with them in a week or two.

Working with family pets is probably the most fun kind of
dog-training, but you might pick up some good interim experience
working for a company or a police force that trains service dogs.
That might give you the chance to work with some individual dogs all
the way through the process until they are ready for service.

Charlie

I've also registered for a Come When Called seminar that's being held at the
training center down the street. It's actually on a day off - that's hard to
find, since I work nights and week-ends. I give a similar workshop, so I'm
interested to see if they have any tips and hints that I can incorporate. I'm
going to take Murphy, who is my least trained dog.
