Tests and more tests. I understand that well.
Did you check that link to marvistavet's bladder stone page? It is a helpful
introduction, I think:

http://www.marvistavet.com/html/bladder_stones.html

Still is under construction, since they don't have info on Urate stones.

Yes I was on that location yesterday reading all about it. In fact
I emailed a part of it to DH yesterday.

Chad I sure hope Frankie starts to feel better. I am sure
the cold does not help with his hips and other arthritic
conditions.

He is always so much happier in the cold weather. He did great this morning,
with only the slightest indication that his hips were bothering him.

Well that is grand to hear. It does seem like all dogs
love and appreciate the cold weather. But I can honestly
say that DH's hip has started hurting or aching a bit now
that it has gotten a bit cold again.

Give him many hugs. I would say treats but at this time
I am reluctant in lue of the bladder stones.

*smile* You got it! Thanks, Gwen.
