I was just organizing photos on my computer and came across this contrast:

Solo at 16 months, looking goofy and bald:
http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~mlchang/nohairsolo.jpg

Solo recently, with unreasonably fluffy butt on parade at age 4.5:
http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~mlchang/lassieass.jpg

Crazy.

- Okay WHAT happened That is some change he has gone through. I love
his big fluffy tail I think that Sonny would like to borrow some of it as
his tail is ...well thin.... and really odd looking.

Just wait.

Solo did always have a crazy tail, though. I remember thinking that his
tail was nice the first time I met him, but not having any other opinion
about him -- until the guy handed me the leash.

Sonny's tail is small, short, thin, and odd looking, not the least
impressive. At least the bold spots on his body has started to fill in. But
his coat is weird.... it looks old, worn and well like an old, mouldy
sheepskin He has got an impressive mane, a lot of long silky hairs on his
legs and under his tummy, but the rest is very sorry looking. Poor dog

Did I tell you the last time we met that I didn't remember him being so
poufy? I don't know what you're feeding him (and there has definitely
been a change between our first and second meetings), but it's all going
to his hair. Just like everything I'm feeding Khan goes to his nails.
