Default Troubling News

This past weekend my daughter discovered some lumps on our bichon's
throat area. Today we took him the vet who took some needle biopsys.
The official results won't be for a few days but the vet looked at the
biopsy cells and thought they were not infection cells. That leave
cancer that has just floored us. Has any one out there gone through
this? Were there any therapies that pushed the cancer into remission?
Or if not, what can we expect the cancer progress to be. Our little
guy has only been with us for 8 years and like all bichons lives with a
special style. Emails welcomed: Thank you.
