Default black vomit?

My four year old cocker has just vomited some black gritty stuff. It is like
black wet sand. It doesn't smell and the dog seems fine. Does anyone know
about this? Larry

Could have gotten into something. But could also be bleeding. Call your vet.

frequently, coffee-ground-like vomit indicates a bleed in the
stomach...i would advise you to get your dog to the vets, pronto...
