Default Quick Frankie Update - Dec 23

Just a short Frankie update:

Blood work Friday showed that his platelet count is still very high (360K,
IIRC). Problematically, though, his liver enzymes are high enough to be a
concern. We've reduced the steroid dose again, and if the platelet count is
still high today (which it probably will be) we'll lower it again tomorrow
before his full blood panel friday or saturday. The vets say that the liver
enzymes tend to retreat pretty well after the steroid dose is at a low enough
level, and Frankie isn't showing any clinical signs yet of liver problems.

Behaviorally he's doing pretty much the same. A bit slow and deliberate
outside; inside doing great. Eating, peeing, and pooping regularly. Sleeping
well. Enjoying toys and treats with great gusto.

Have a very happy holidays, everyone.
Chad

Great news! Please keep us updated on how the tapering of the steroids is
going.

You, too, Chad. And thanks!
