My hisband and I have raised 2 goldens previous, so we know their good tempered nature and great behavior with kids. We got a pup for xmas for our 7 yr old and 3 yr old girls. The pup is 8 weeks and weighs about 13 lbs, so he's a good size puppy. He tends to play very rough and shows signs of aggression. Yesterday he attacked my 3 year old while she was petting him. He got her whole left cheek and it is a terrible site. I took her to the ER and the staff called the MP's (I'm military), They said to put him in quaratine and that we should put him to sleep..."Once a dog bites, regardless of age, he'll do it again." What should we do? My daughter will have a scar for the rest of her life, but my husband and I disagree on what to do with the pup. Help!
