i'm glad to hear that Frankie is feeling better and that he's
been in good spirits. yay! hopefully the masses in his mouth
are just a reaction to the drugs or they're some sort of
benign swelling that will sort itself out soon. fingers
crossed, and i'll keep him in my thoughts.

Hi Chad.
It *is* exhausting to try to not worry, isn't it. But we do worry all
the same. One day at a time.
I am glad you have a vet you have confidence in. Sounds like she
listens to your concerns.
Glad Frankie is still a happy chap! Wouldn't it be nice to have that
innocence and faith?

Absolutely exhausting! But he's worth it.
She's a great vet, and my general estimation of her (and the entire practice)
has been reified by this entire experience.

Thanks for the kind note, Perry. Frankie sends his best!
Chad

Yay, Frankie!

*smile*

So that's where we are. We're still trying to lower the steroids as
quickly as possible while monitoring his platelet count. When low
enough, we'll consider biopsying the masses in his mouth. In the mean
time, he's doing super, and we're enjoying his company.

It doesn't sound like the masses in his mouth are cancer, from the
symmetry of them. But I will keep everything crossed about that anyway.
I'm glad he's peppy, energetic, and happy--what a trouper!

That's certainly our hope, and its very possible that they are not. At this
point, we just have to wait for a while before we can consider a biopsy.

Give him skritches from David and me and the doggie equivalent from
Fidget, and tell him we're all sending constant good vibes.

He sends his thanks (and knows about the doggie equivalent, to which he
responds with a hearty *bark*).

P.S. Is the subject supposed to be 1.17.04?

Ahh. I'm never getting the date posts accurate in the subject line...

Hi Chad,
I'm glad Frankie is doing a little better and continues to improve.
I won't say try not to worry, as it's impossible not to.
Best wishes to you and your family too,
Alison

Hey Alison,

Thanks so much for this note, and for your best wishes. They mean a lot to
us. *smile*

Best from Frankie and me...
Chad
