NEW! Spokane & Inland NW German Shepherd Dog Club! by wabratling
Hi! My name is Terri and I've started a Spokane German Shepherd Yahoo group. It is my hope that this group becomes a great source of information, support, and friendship for those of us who love this breed. I'd like it to be more than just an online group, but also a way for all of us to gather...

Avoiding knots in Shitz Zu coats by ricknkazba@optusnet.com.au
We have an 8 month old Shitz Zu who constantly has a problem with knots in her coat. We are both quite busy with work, but make time to brush her and wash her regularly. Does anyone have any tips / product suggestions to minimise knots in long-haired breeds?

I just have a few questions about Miniature Schnauzers. We are getting one next week and this will be our first indoor dog. I have purchased a crate for the dog. Do you normally put a dog bed in the crate? Since my wife and I both work it will be in the crate during the day. What is the purpose...

Looking for breeder referrals... by Hi-D
I Live in Sacramento, CA and am currently looking for a Shih-Tzu puppy. I have spoken to a few "breeders" and the two who currently have puppies rubbed me the wrong way. One seemed over anxious to sell the puppies and told me over and over again how all Shih-tzu's have issues with undershots and...

Springfield,Mass. by Hi Im WEEniE with MyFav4ite Midi
My friend's JRT was stolen out of her fenced in back yard about 10 p.m last night. She wasn't microchipped but beside the dog having a collar with license the dog can be identified by her front feet. The dog is about 2-3 yrs.old and spayed. My friend is putting up flyers and going to all the pounds...

Pregnant Great Dane help needed by Natalie Rigertas
Remember the friend I had (well, acquaintance) who had gotten a Dane momma with puppies? Well, she did well, placed the puppies through Dane Rescue, placed the mom, etc. Now, the same breeder dumped the rest of her "stock" on her. Something like 5 dogs. She placed 4 of them (with Dane rescue)...

Brits by Joe@joesboulder.com
I'm considering a Brittany and a lot of the reading I've done seems to indicate they need a fenced in area to play in. I live in a (large) townhouse with a dog park just a few steps away so maintaining a dog that needs lots of exercise won't be a problem....unless it needs a fence. Most of the...

Welsh Terrier running away by assum.sr@pg.com
We are very interested in getting a Welsh Terrier as a pet. The only drawback of the breed is that they can just runaway after a rabbit or some other prey and never come back. This would mean that we would never be able to take them to an open field and have them run. I have never owned a dog...
