Any ideas on the breed mix? by
agilemutts@gmail.com
http://i367.photobucket.com/albums/oo111/HSamuelson/WhatIsIt.png
The coat is long, coarse and shaggy (when not shaved!). Medium sized
dog, maybe 45 pounds? Friend thinks it is chow because of the tongue
but it doesn't look very chowish to me. I'm thinking a doodle of some
kind.

Bark Collar? Which one? by
Tom Ginkel
I have a French bulldog that is a very good dog, but often goes to the fence
and barks excessively. A little barking is good, but I don't want to
alienate the neighbors with constant yapping. Will an anti-bark collar
help? She is very trainable and remembers unpleasant consequences very...

Toy and Miniature Poodles by
akim28@gmail.com
If you have small children, I would definitely recommend a miniature
poodle because they are not as fragile as toy poodles may be. My toy
poodle is so small that when she follows me around, I hardly notice
she is behind me and I either "almost" step on her or trip over head.
Also, she is tiny...

Historical Breed Pics by
sarah.hartwell@blueyonder.co.uk
For anyone interested in old pics of different dog types and breeds
and comparing them to the modern breeds, I have been scanning
illustrations in old encyclopedias (1850s, 1909, 1920s) .

I know you understand coloration of dogs. How about horses?
I saw a white horse today (ok grey) I was not close enough to actually SEE
the skin color.
But the horse appeared a very clear color of white, with black socks to the
knees and hocks. It had a white mane and tail.
I never saw any color...

Brussels Griffon Size by
94haley
I recently purchased a Brussels Griffon from a previous owner, who in
turn got it from an older lady who had bought it as a puppy from a
breeder in Georgia. His parents are both AKC, but his size is funny.
He stands about 14" high, and weighs ~18 lbs. He's also only 8 months
old. He's not fat by...

Dog is limping by
Dave in Lake Villa
My dog is limping horribly on her left leg. She only started this a
few hours ago. She hasn't shown any sign of pain,in fact she wanted to
play. I felt her leg but she didn't show any signs of being
hurt...what could be causing her limp? A sore leg? She is a beautiful
tri-color Chihuahua. I posted...
