canine periods by
Heidi1976
I am new to this site and am hoping someone might be able to help.
I have a 7yr old female mixed breed terrier who is having her period. She was spayed when she was around 1 yr old. My question, Is this normal for a dog that has been fixed?

any skin problems, but my new 5 month Maltese puppy is so itchy she
practically spends the whole day scratching, or nibbling on areas of
her body. The first sympton I noticed was that the tips of her ears
were stiff and...

Schnauzer Injury? by
Dali Dog
Last night, our miniature schnauzer dog jumped off the bed awkwardly,
when he discovered the cat was there. It was dark, so I didn't see how
he fell, but he wimpered pitifully for a few moments, making me
concerned that he had seriously hurt himself in a fall. After checking
out his legs and...

I have two poodles, a toy and a mini. The toy has ear problems a lot.
Problems include red coloring, dark/crusty gunk and itching. I pull the

sensitive about stuff like that) and also use a ear powder to aid in the...

Dog survives gas chamber by
tequilacat
Have you heard about the dog who survived the gas chamber earlier this week?
I don't quite understand why gas chambers are even still in use when there's
a fast injectable alternative. It's barbaric that they're still in use.
Grace, named after her ordeal, was in pretty bad shape, but still...
