Dog who has seizures and now pancreatitis by
stone
Hey all,

dog was 9 months old and under the knife to lose his family jewels he
had a grand mal seizure. The vet said the cause could have been the
stress from separation or the drugs used to knock him out. They are
known to...

Hi All,
We have a 6 1/2 year old Saint Bernard who has suddenly begun to have

dew claw removal by
MauiJNP
It seems that Cali still has her dew claws. Can they be removed when she
gets spayed? Will they not do that at the same time? Do they need to be
removed or can she keep them? Thanks for any input.

We took him to the vet and they wanted the bill paid in full it was $600

16-month old golden retriever. His last normal bowel movement was
Sunday at 4 PM. He missed his late night poop and his morning poop,
the first time ever in his life. I have had him out countless times
today, and finally at about 4 PM he had a bowel movement that was about
1/2 normal size.

SPCA protects who's interests? by

Our lab/golden mix got a bottle of pain pills from our cabinet (you'll
have to ask her how). I caught her as soon as she laid in her hiding
place under our dinner table chewing on the bottle. I couldn't
account for all of the pills missing so I called my vet. Their after
hours number referred...

Anal sac won't express - advice? by

My 5 y.o. St. Bernard mix male has an anal sac that will not express.
The vet tried last week and even sedated him and catheterized the sac
and tried to drain it that way. No luck. She ran a complete blood
workup and all chemistry values fall in the normal range.
She's referred him to a local pet...
