Post pyometra surgery bleeding by
krinshaw876@yahoo.com
Our dog had surgery for pyometra roughly a week ago. She seems to be
doing just fine, and has progressively gotten better (responsive,
eating regularly, etc...). She is also still on an antibiotic.
My question is: could she still have some bleeding or drainage at this
point? We noticed some...

I've got a Golden Retriever with some troubling skin issues. I've spent
many hours here reading about food allergies, contact allergies, diet
and just Goldens in general, but I've yet to find a solution to this.
This summer has been particularly bad with hotspots. Through the winter
and fall he...

Prognosis for dogs broken toe/toenail injury? by
dncmullin@yahoo.com
Greetings all!
Perhaps nearly two months ago, my 15.5 year old aussie shepherd
apparently injured the innermost toe on one of her hind legs. One day,
underneath her nail, where the nail connects to the foot, we noticed
that there was some blood that she was licking at. We cleaned it up,
and put...

Kennel Cough Treatment by

My dog has had a hacking cough leading to retching and hasn't been eating
very much for the last week. I took her to the vet and she was assumed to
have a form of kennel cough (even though she hasn't really been near a dog),
she also has a heart murmur. She was prescribed Oxycare, Enacard...

was his knee. She gave him an injection of rimadyl and a one-week
prescription for same, and sent him home.
We stilll could not get him up the stairs, and had...

His fever is still on a roller coaster. Up and down after we immerse him in
a pool for 20 minutes. seems to keep the fever down in 101.5-102.5 for
several hours. We need to do this about every 4-5 hours. He is drinking
