vestibular syndrome, but without the nystagmus by
Drew Shuller
Hello,
My 10 y.o. mongrel appears to have vestibular syndrome, but does not have
the rapid back and forth eye movement. There was a little bit of frothing
yesterday, and some "gum-chewing" motions.
Any ideas? I'm really wondering what is going on with my dog. Thank you.

Hi folks -
Our seven month old beagle had some bloodwork done last week to check
for possible liver/digestive system problems. All of the tests came
back normal except the Bile Acid Test which was slightly elevated. It
was 36 instead of under 25 which is the normal.
Her doctor is going to discuss...

His breath now smells strongly of the DMSO; the vet that gave it to us
is not reachable at...

My 3 year black lab was just diagnosed with
food allergies. The vet thinks that Nixa is allergic
to her Hill's Science Diet chicken based diet.
The vet has put her on a novel
diet of duck and potato. Nixa will be on this
diet for at least 3 months. If Nixa is outbreak
free for 3 months, then she...

Tylan by
David Sherman
I friend just recommended Tylan for overall gastronomic health for my dog.
Does anyone here have an opinion of Tylan - what it is, if it's healthy for
dogs, and what exactly it's for.

Can anyone recommend a good high fiber food for my dog? by
Cartrivision1
Hi, my dog Jake (male Dachshund, 11) went to the doctor about 3 weeks
ago due to anal gland problem. The doctor emptied them and gave him a
weeks worth of antibiotics. After the week was over he was still

the doctor last Monday...

Car sickness by
Kayla
My 8 month old sheltie gets car sick everytime she goes with me for
any length of time. Very short trips are okay but usually anything
longer than 1/2 an hour will bring on the vomitting. Is there
anything I can give her besides anti nausea pills?

Falling In Love... by
Emily Carroll/Fluttervale
Does anyone else have this happen?
You meet a friend's dog, of whatever breed, and from that point foreward you just can't take your eyes off that dog?
My mentor has two dogs that are like that for me. One is "my" Tux, who I'm training for obedience & am hoping to do agility with this...

Brilliant Observation on Shock Fences/collars by
nizzlefry@yahoo.com
Hey guys,
I live in a neighborhood that believes 100% in the use of either
electric fences and/or electric shock collars. My dogs are the
fortunate few that are not forced to wear these demon devices. Here is
my first example on just how aggressive the fence method is:
Take Jack, a Giant Schnauzer...

Puppy Neutered Precautions by
Sue
My 4 1/2 month old shitz su, Bandit, was neutered today.
Seeing that he hasn't been able to eat or drink anything since last night
and won't be fed anything until tomorrow morning, under vet's orders, is
there any way of helping curb is appetite or thirst a bit?
Maybe a spoonful of peanut butter...
