randomme

I have a question. My 11 month old australian shepherd has been showing a
weird behavior (more like disgusting). It started probably a month ago.
Whenever we took him to a dog park and saw other dogs, he would be chasing
them and licking their "private" parts! Is this something common for a...

BARF @ room temperature vs cold by
Scott
Why is it best to feed BARF, or perhaps any other dog food, at room
temperature, instead of at refrigerator temperature?

chipmunks by
user@foobar.com
I've been having problems with chipmunks, they are in areas of the yard
that are where my dogs are allowed to run. The dogs go nuts, bark, pace
constantly, dig etc. I've tried endless ways of catching & killing. A
month ago while at our lake home, a mother raccoon & her kits had made
home directly...

Digging & nibbling problem by
Pamela
I have a 4 year old white German shepherd named Sugar. Lately, she's been
digging holes all over the backyard. She's never done this before this
summer. I know that some dogs dig so they can nap on cool dirt, but this
doesn't seem to have anything to do with where she sleeps. Also, she's
taken...

New type of Parvo? by
Scott
I was told by my sister which is knowledgeable about all this, but I haven't
seen anything posted here or in other NGs.
There is a new type of Parvo that dogs can get and there is no vaccine for
it at this time. If your dog gets it he\she will only live for 5 days after
they contract it. has...

Hi, I have a 7 mo old beagle mix that I got from the humaine society 2
months ago. She has been spayed for about a month now, but last night
a dog owning friend of mine came over and noticed how her genital area
smelled like rotten fish! She said it had something to do with her
going into "heat"...
