Sebaceous adenitis - Standard Poodle by
GWB
A couple of years ago, my 7 year old standard poodle starting getting
dry flaking skin on his back, then hair loss. It has been getting
progressively worse. His thick, beautiful coat is a thing of the past
and he smells bad. The vet didn't diagnose it; I did, on Google. He
has Sebaceous...

How do I instill fear in a dog? by
woofysue@yahoo.co.uk
My brother's Yorkshire Terrier has bitten me three
times in the past two months and I've had enough of
it. I've done everything possible to placate it, and
all the talk about curing with kindness is rubbish. As
he refuses to get rid of it I want to, need to break
its spirit. What can I do to make a...

Chip implants linked to animal tumors by
buglady
...........in mice and rats. Apparently there's also a couple of instances
of tumors in dogs. Personally I'm surprised they haven't found more growths
associated with chips. Not necessarily cancerous tumors, but a benign
attempt by the body to sequester this foreign object. NOW they want to do...

high (521), and his T4 (thyroid) was low normal (1.5). He was back at
the vet's on August 28th, and we noted that he had gained 5 pounds in 5...

The Scottish Government has issued a Consultation Document on the sale

19 year old poodle-R.I.P. by
joesmoochie
Just wanted to post something about my friend Pluto. I had him for
almost 19 years but finally had to say goodbye to him a few months ago
on april 10th. Things got to be too much for him so I couldn't let him
suffer anymore.
He went blind about 18 months ago but that didn't slow him down
much....

Is your dog's skin problems a sign of something much more serious? by
roso
Skin problems can be pretty common in some dogs, especially during
the
summer. But did you know that there are other causes of skin problems
in dogs that you might not be aware of? Things in our environment,
commercial dog food and intolerance build ups to common things like
fleas. I have created a...

The commercial dog food you trust may be killing your dog by
pbxcmriruftg@yahoo.com
My own vet said commercial dog food killed my dog, Noble, because
preservatives it contains caused his kidneys to fail.
In fact, through my own research I discovered dog food contains at
least 6 deadly chemicals that have been banned from human foods
because they cause:
Kidney cancer
Bladder...

Sheltie biting at her feet by
kayla
My 3 year old sheltie is very frequently nibbling at her feet. I have
checked all of them and can not see anything except now they are
reddened where she has been biting them. Her white feet now have a
pinkish colour to them because she has chewed some of the hair off.
This happened once before...

Yellow frothy liquid vomit. by
-Lost
When we first welcome Demon and Pudge into our home we noticed that they
*constantly* threw up a yellow liquid. Most times it was a little frothy
as well. As in a bit of foam on top.
I chocked it up to poor diet and worms (both of which they were affected
by). Now, almost 2 years later, once...

Anyone use their services? I have a friend who swears by them, I never saw
one until the Petsmart added one to their store. Just curious what they
provide and if they are generally liked.

Siezure? by
Goldlexus
My golden retriever did something strange today, in fact twice (my son
observed it this morning. I saw it tonight). She would be quietly laying
down than get up but one of her front paws would be drawn up close to her
body, her tail tucked under her and a somewhat glassy look in her eyes. I...

Thornit Powder by

away and now need to get more. I was surprised to find more than
one supplier out there and I can't remember which one I'd bought...
