pancratic cancer by
Onoit
Some people I know have a seeing-eye dog with pancreatic cancer, that
cannot be treated. Has anybody heard of any alternative medicine that might
cure a pancreatic cancer in a dog?

Seanol for a Dog? by
Onoit
Acc. to Dr. Robert J. Rowen, Seanol, as found, say, in FibroBoost,
combats all kinds of inflammation, including arthritic.
Hs anybody tried giving Seanol to a dog, and, if so, in what quantities,
and with what results? The prescribed anti-inflammatory doesn't seem to cure
the problem.

Update on Buddy & new weird behavior by
spot
Buddy's ACL surgery went fine. It's been 3 weeks and he's like a new
dog. He now feels so well that he will actually try and pull you along
when you take him for a walk. Something he has never done in the 4
years that I've had him.
We tried not taking the Rimadyl for a day per the vet to see...

Beagle Diagnosed With Cancer, Advice? by
Shawn Hughes
I have a 12 year old male beagle (Willow) that was diagnosed with late-stage
cancer on Thursday. The Vet said that his chest X-Ray revealed that the
cancer has spread all over his lungs, and likely to other places. She
suspects the cancer originated in his liver since it was very enlarged. ...

Okay for dogs to drink out of creeks? by
Wade Lippman
I just read an article in Backpacker Magazine that said that dogs are just
as likely to get sick from drinking untreated water as people, so you should
prevent them from drinking from ponds or creeks.
Is there much truth to that?
My dog pretty much lives in the water, be it creeks, canals,...

10 year old dog diagnosed with diabetes by
lharnish
My dog, Stormy, just started on Cansulin for diabetes. Stormy used to
be a "grazer", picking at his dish of dog food throughout the day but
now we have to switch him over to eating at a certain time to ensure
he has enough food in his system before giving him his shot. I'd like
to hear from anyone...

Has anyone heard this story the "Heidi Chronicles"?
When I read this, I couldn't help feel sad about this dog's serious
weight problem. I am happy to hear though that she has lost some
weight.
That having been said, I found some youtube's of this dog. I can not
believe how big she...
