Steve Crane, Science Diet, citric acid and bloat? by lolajoker@webtv.net
Steve, I posted a couple days ago about a Purdue study of gastric torsion in dogs that says that citric acid in a dogfood increases bloat risk by 320% and also that dry food with citric acid shouldn't be pre-moistened. Since Science Diet uses citric acid as a perservative, what are your thoughts...

rumor or fact? by meg
I recently heard that using household products, such as Swiffer Wet Jet, can be harmful to your pet's health. Is this true? Should I stop using these products in my house? Is there a certain ingredient that I should look for when buying household cleaning products?

bruising on tummy by Brandy's Garden
Hi, I have a 4 year old Wolf hybrid. About 2 weeks ago I noticed a bruise across her tummy. Today I discovered it now covers her entire tummy as well as spots on her thighs and her back/hip area. Does anybody know what this might be? I'm very worried about her. Thanks Brandy

Lumps under dog's fur by meeohmi
Recently my 7 month old pitbull developed these hard, pea-sized bumps under her fur. They don't seem to be causing her any discomfort and don't have and scabs, pus or hairloss. At first, there were only about a dozen on her shoulder. Two days later, they seemed to be getting better, but the next...
