limping dog by
nick
Tilly is my 13 month old labrador who has been limping on one front
leg recently.
At first I assumed she had something in her paw - she held it up for
me to look at - but could find nothing, nor did she react to each
little bone and joint being squeezed, so I am pretty sure no bones are
broken...

Rick
We have 4 German Shepherds in our family: two males and two females.
The alpha leader is the senior female (and longest running member of
the pack). The problem is with the two males.
Both dogs were brought into the house at approximately the same time.
Although one has assimilated into the...

Ebthtr
Anyone on this list have expirence with this? Our ESS is fed Hill's C/D, has
been on antibiotics. She went off them a few months back and since she has been
retested her triple phosphate crystals are "many" once again.
Is there an alternative to a lifetime of anitbiotics?
Thanks

Opinions - Dog bit by Rattle Snake... by
Chris Woodruff
Hello,
I just wanted to make sure that we have done as much as possible
within reason in the care of our 4 years old Aussie. He was
apparantly bitten by a snake (probably rattler, we are in SO Cal). We
took him to the vet and they did both the ani-venom treatment and the
antiboitics shots. He...

Dog shot by neighbors..... by
Tirnambeo
My two yr old coonhound/lab mix was shot in the leg by neighbors last week.
She had been let out by my kids who then just let her run loose (after being
told on several occasions that ALL of the dogs are to be tied for extended
unsupervised outside time). When I got home and called for her, she...

Joint supplement for humans okay for dogs? by

My 12 year old yorkshire terrier has arthritis. I'm thinking of
giving him some joint supplements, nutriceuticals not NSAIDs. Can the
joint supplements for humans that I see on the market be given to my
dog too - as long as I adjust the dosage (20mg/lb of body weight for
glucosamine and 15mg to...

Yesterday my genetic markers sprang into high gear. I found the most
awesome, stinking, huge carcass of a rodent and couldn't resist rolling in
it over and over. Naturally my master gave me a bath; the first since
spring last year when I had the same pleasure. In my eight years I've had

They are now all on Doxycycline for a month.

her back leg checked out. She had been limping for a week. The vet
