feeding puppies by
mojomcl
At what age can I put my pup onto 2 meals a day?
He is 15 weeks old, and on a high quality complete food.
I'm in no hurry to change him to two meals, I just wonderd what the
general advice was on this?
Thanks

Parvo by
GFS
I recently lost a Pomeranian puppy to Parvo and would like to replace
it. However my understanding is the Virus is difficult to kill and is
tough on puppy's in particular. We have a large house on a half ace and
have bleached or disinfected everything we could. I know that a Puppy
will surely go...

snorting fits by
Lynne
Roxy is having occasional snorting fits (every few days). She is also
occasionally doing the classic Looney Tunes snoring routine. She has
always been a snorer, but once in a while she snorts in and then out so
hard her lips flap in the breeze she makes. This and the snorting fits
will go on...

Ship and Test question by
[email protected]
I forgot to ask the vet: After putting an animal "to sleep" and a
speedy rabies test is required, many vets do what is termed a "Ship and
Test" where the head of the animal is sent to a lab where the test is
completed. What device/method is used to decapitate the animal?

Frankfurters OK? by
Robin McInnes
Hi,
Our Westie bitch has recently taken a liking to Frankfurter sausages. We
feed them to her as a supplement to her Cesar dog food.
Apart from anything else, they encourage her to eat her dog food.
Without some sort of supplement added, like the sausages or cheese or
something, she often...

Dog Food Supplements by
Puddin' Man
Hi,
10 yr-old Brittany Spaniel gal. Fur is kinda dull and dry, and she's
been particularly itchy this past season.
She gets just over 1/2 cup of Nutro Nat'l Choice Lamb Meal & Rice,
3 times/day. She's on a diet. Tinkering with addition of a couple
raw eggs/week. Oh, and a Glucosamine/Condroitin...

LeeRoy Jenkins by
jerryeveretts
Little LeeRoy. The vet gave him a clean bill of health yesterday,
clipped his claws, stuck what looked WAY to large to fit into his bum,
into his bum to test for worms. He came out negative, but they wormed
him as a precaution anyway. Put a 4lb dose of advantage on him to rid
him of fleas, which it...

Hello all,
My name is Ian from Australia and I am new to this group and wondered if

pill pockets and diarrhea? by
Lynne
Has anyone noticed that pill pockets can cause diarrhea? Roxy has had very
loose and frequent stools for about 24 hours. The only change in her diet
has been the addition of 2 large pill pockets per day for 2 days. I'm just
wondering if it could be related.

Possible posioning of dog by
Mickee
How can you tell if a dog is being posioned? I am very concerned about my dog. He is HW positive and for other reasons is being treated with heartguard plus, instead of the treatment from the vet. He seemed so much better and was back to his old self and no one would have known he was sick and...

Heartgard prices by
Carolyn Deese
I purchased the Heartgard for the 51 to 100 pound dog last week at my
vet's office for 39.75. I think I would ask other pet owners in your
area who their vet is and how much they pay for Heartgard. If you can
find another good vet who is less expensive I would certainly consider
changing vets. I...
