Oppie's LP surgery update -1 by
FurPaw

afternoon. The surgery went well; only one glitch when he threw
up the morning after the surgery, and the vet said that it was
probably a fairly common reaction to the steroids they gave
during surgery.
He seems to be feeling pretty...

Have our pets been killed by poisoned wheat gluten from down under? by
Divinorumus
We need to take action and get to the bottom of this pet food recall,
and more specifically we need to get someone to confess to what has
happened here and what is still going on. It should not take anyone
this long to perform all the necessary lab tests to find out what is
wrong here. Instead,...

Dog Obedience Training by
[email protected]
Imagine this, you see your dog "Major" outside digging up your newly
planted daisies. You first quietly say "Major, Come here". Major,
doesn't respond. You then yell "MAJOR - COME HERE!". Major still
doesn't come, so you go over and grab him by the collar and yell "I
told you to Come Here!" and...

Oppie's LP surgery is today. (Oppie is an 11-year old yellow

New Zealand Natural Bee Pollen by
Jean Helmet
I know it might sound trivial but there is a lot to be said for finding the right bee pollen supplement. Bee pollen is collected in a variety of ways and likewise, is distributed in a variety of ways. It is also a sensitive issue as to where, geographically, the bee pollen was collected.
Not...

Prednisone / Lymphoma questions... by
[email protected]
Hello everyone,
Our 12-year-old golden retriever Haley was diagnosed with lymphoma
just before Christmas 2006. After some deliberation, my wife and I
decided on a treatment path that entailed a vincristine shot every
three weeks and a prednisone tablet every other day.
Overall, the results have...

Leaking dog by
Suja
Khan has been getting a little leaky. I normally don't get to see it
because he is very diligent about cleaning up after himself, and only
noticed it when he dripped a little while I am brushing him. Today, I
watched as he leaked while sleeping. The vet appointment is on Monday.
Assuming that...

Dog has big hole in chest after operation by
[email protected]
Hello
we are after advice regarding my Dog Louis. He's a two year old collie
lurcher. He has recently had two operations on his upper chest to
remove a lump which may have been caused by a foreign body or a hard
bump. The lump was the size of a large apple.
About two weeks ago he had it removed....
