Allergies by
Peetie Wheatstraw
11 year old Brittany. Generally very active and healthy except for
skin allergies.
She is extremely itchy from about April thru October. Licking and

Need cure for loose stools in a renal doggie by
[email protected]
Hi,
My doggie has renal failings and is on subQ fluids. He's doing very
well (thank God) and has a great appetite. Problem is every 4 days or
so he gets loose stools that he can't control. I don't want to put
him on metronidazole on an ongoing basis. I've seen diarreah related
supplments in the...

Rudy, 2yo Golden, is a gassy boy. Always has been. but much more
sometimes than others. He's also a poop eater by choice (but not by
practice), and urinary incontinent (takes Proin).
He can clear a room.
For the last month+ we've been trying Unleashed digestive enzymes. No
improvement. ...

Tarry black stools in my neighbor's service dog by
A. Brain
This wonderful dog has had tarry, stringy black
stools for a couple of weeks, and weight loss.
This is classic for gastroinstestinal bleeding,
but the vet is suggesting a tumor of the spleen
or liver, which does not make sense to me.
Anyone have any thoughts? This is a really
noble and fine dog,...

colitis in dog by
highflyr
I have a beagle who suddenly had just one bout of very watery, mucus
stool with blood. It was 95% red with the odd mucus green color to
it. No foul smell.
There is no urgency to defecate. She is eating well and has been
regularly going to relieve herself on a daily basis.
Should I be worried? ...

It was the middle toe on one of his hind feet. It split right down
the middle, and it
smelled rotten. the dog then chewed it off, and he got the base. The
toe swelled up,
and the vet ordered a round of antibiotics for him. Didn't help. he
kept getting
the collar off. the swelling went...

Shitzu Cough? by
The Family Dog
I Have A nine year old Shitzu female. When she gets overly excited she
starts coughing. A deep dry cough. Rubbing her neck seems to help, and
I have taken her to the vet for heartworm tests. (They came back
negative) Any Ideas?

Kennell cough! by
[email protected]
I have a long haired Chihuahua that has had kennel cough symptoms for
almost 4 months. He's 7 years old, the Vet has X-rayed his lungs,
heart etc. but I still have to give him the cough syrup 3 times a day.
They are out of pills and the syrup is messy and he hates it.
Any ideas. please?

Urine therapy (153,000 web pages) for dogs by
[email protected]
Hi,
Please consult a urine therapist whether you can do urine therapy for
dogs.
I know that one dog when given his own pee-pee to sniff and drink did
so and was cured of his cold.
Also consult, http://spacetimemotion.tripod.com for dogs.
