Coat Color Related Question by Suja
I've been chewing on this a bit, and finding no logical answer. How and why are "acceptable" colors within a breed established? I understand the necessity to specify that some colors are DQ due to potential color linked health problems (like problems with breeding merles and piebalds). But what...

Has anyone heard about a "deadly dog flu" virus that has killed a couple of dogs that were at the Virginia or Canfield shows recently? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Margaret -- "Chows leave paw prints on our hearts"

The old lady gets one more... by Robin Nuttall
Title that is. Viva finished her Open Tunnelers title last weekend. For those of you who don't know agility, or NADAC agility, that's a class of tunnels only--no jumps. NADAC has a Veterans designation, but they don't allow it for Tunnelers, so in order to Q the old dogs have to compete...

http://www.blue-merle-poodle.com/index.html so glad to see somebody with 32 breeding dogs churning out "rare" and "unique" pups for $1500 a shot. Did anyone see anything re. any health checks? I skimmed over both websites and didn't see any mention of health clearances. Margaret

flatcoat retriever - droopy eyes? by Mike
