cute puppy pictures and quilts by Julia Altshuler
http://community-2.webtv.net/crittercomforts/CritterComforts/ Personally, I don't do home made quilts for dogs, but I like it that someone else is doing just that. I thought y'all would be interested in that web page. --Lia

OT Poem for those who have lost someone . by Alison
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there , I do not sleep, I am the thousand winds that blow, I am the diamonds glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain , I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush I am the uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am...

Chewing by Abigail Ruth Guerrero
I recently got a 8 month old little terrier. The problem is, he likes to chew on everything. Once he tried to chew on a piece of glass, but he wasn't hurt thank God. Could I please have some tips on how to stop this behavior? Thank in advance. Abby

TAZZ!! Kinda Long by Loise
Well Tazz has been living here for a couple of weeks now and boy is he busy, busy, busy, but also smart as a whip. We haven't had more than a couple "mistakes" in the house, (due to our innattention). He is learning that shoes are not chew toys by using lots of "we'll trade" for things that...

Idiot Owner by FurPaw
Here's another dog likely headed for the pound, or worse. He's a 7 month old GSD, beautiful boy, who lives next to my BIL. When I went out in BIL's back yard today, the dog charged the fence and began barking viciously. I tried some "calming signals" and slowly started to sidle up to the fence. ...

Rubbing chin by Debbie the Underdogged
Dolly, my chi mix, the ultimate cuddle-bug, will occasionally vigorously rubs her chin on me in a circular motion. It's very cute, and I'd like to know if this has any specific meaning (besides her chin being possibly itchy)? Thanks. -- Debbie the Underdogged das at spamcop dot net "I'm not...

Pugs vs. Bostons by Leah
It's going to be quite a while before I get another dog, but I've had my heart set on a pug. However... the more bostons I meet, the more I'm falling in love with those feisty little creatures. Since they both fit the qualifications of what I want for my next dog, my resolve to go pug is getting...

Sweet Dog... except w/ kids ... Why? by Joshua
We have an 11 yr old, neutered miniature schnauzer. He's a big baby and loves everyone... except kids. For some reason he transforms from a lovable furball into an aggressive, biting "mean dog" in the presence of kids under about the age of 12. We cannot account for it. It's embarrassing...

Cubbe report: Strange Encounters with Ceramic Turtles by Julia Altshuler
We took our normal walk in the neighborhood today when Cubbe encountered a strange new animal: a 1 1/2 foot, ceramic turtle doing duty as a lawn ornament. Cubbe didn't go into full "there's a squirrel" mode, but she was certainly interested. I walked her up the driveway so she could investigate....
