Ping: Melinda - Dog Booties by
Nick
I checked google and in the past you recommended dogbooties.com I am
curious if they are still who you would recommend getting dog booties
from. There seems to be a large amount of ice forming in the snow this
year and Yoda keeps scraping the inside of his toes on it so he comes in
with...

Garlic for dogs? Unsafe foods for pets. by
Paul E. Schoen
I responded to a post in rpdh about onions being bad for dogs (which I did
not know), and I found this helpful website about other dangerous foods:
http://www.petalia.com.au/templates/storytemplate_process.cfm?specie=dogs&story_no=257
But I also found this which advertises a garlic supplement for...

Zipper agility videos by
Robin Nuttall
This was in Springfield Mass and these were some of the worst runs he's
ever had. He even dropped two bars! The weaves in this ring really
wigged him out (note all the stress sniffing then the flat out refusal
to do them.) But there were still some nice pieces between the
mayhem...I'm just...

Vet suspected the Cruciate. After booking in for xrays it turns out
that the cruciate ligament is fine. MAny xrays from different angles
and the vet concluded that that the dog possibly has a torn muscle.
SImalar perhaps to a weight lifter tearing a muscle and having to rest
and nurse that muscel...

Dog Food Rating Tips by
ashley ross
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when rating the quality of a
dog food. Remember, other than treats, your dog eats the same food
every day so the brand of food you feed your dog is important to a
long and healthy life.
1. Is there quality protein in the food? Many companies will use
bright...

Kiba is a magician by

I was looking for my digital camera yesterday and just couldn't find it
anywhere. The last time I remember absolutely having it for sure was
Saturday at my daughter's. So I called her, asking if I had left it there,
but having a feeling I didn't. Sure enough, my daughter remembers...

Harriet Brown has a twin! by
Suja
And I got to watch her from the car. I was sitting in traffic and it was
drizzling ever so slightly, like a drop or two every minute or so. The
Boxer bitch was on a walk and unhappy about the water. It is no
exaggeration when I say that she kept stopping and shaking herself off every
5 ft. She...

TEACHING MOVE by
Nessa
My dogs know the command "MOVE". it's a handy command to have when
you have dogs weighing in excess of some small people you know
especially because they like to lay in doorways to WATCH you....
I had to TEACH Harley "move".... didn't give much thought to it.
never really thought about the fact...

Unexpected Visitors by

Khan was outside chillin' as usual when Pan started to bark. Since she is
more likely to bark for no reason, I just asked her to quiet, which she did,
but was insistent that she go outside. I go to open the door, only to be
greeted by 3 dogs - Khan and two Pits. One was enthusiastically...
