my dog hurts when she gets up? by jessica
For about a week now, after my dog has been lying down, she tends to yelp and cry when she gets up. Once she's up she doesn't walk with a limp or exhibit any pain. If you touch her legs she shows no pain. She is 5 year old Belgian Malinosis/German Sherphard mix. Any ideas?

older dog growls at owners by blakesq
I have a 13 year old dog, that starts to growl when she is trouble. For instance if she gets into the closed trash can, or pulls food off a shelf, then we will usually tell Greta, "what is this, bad dog." lately she has really started growling a lot, and she lunged at my wife. She didn't bite her...

Ruptured ACL by Suja
This is the first time I've heard of this in a puppy, so I thought I'd ask. Is it possible for a 4 month old Dane puppy to blow out her ACL? How is a definitive diagnosis for this made? X-rays? Manipulation? Combination of the two? Suja

Switched our dogs' food by CJ
Hello, We rescued a rescue dog a couple of months back. 7-8 month old lab / hound cross (what we call a pure-bred Tahoe Terrier). Two good kids rescued it off of the beach, but winter was looming, no fenced yard, and puppy expenses coming on. Our existing 11 year old (male) lab / golden...
