Hi,
I have researched the web on health issues and temperament for both
dogs and am familiar with the good and bad of both. I do not know any
owners of these breeds and the vet won't allow me to call any of their
clents.

Beagle Scent Gland Problem by
West
My lovely male beagle as a problem with the 2 scent glands located on the
sides of his bottom mouth, they are small, very putrid, and offensive. It
must be irritating to the dog because he is always rubbing it on his front
paws, thus irritating it further. I assume it's infected because...

Hi everyone,
First time post.
I had some questions about Mals.

Tibetan terrier or lhasa Apso?? by
meteore
Hi,
I just lost my Lhasa Apso, who many thought was a Tibetan Terrier,
because she was big for a Lhasa. My groomer told me she did not think
my dog was a Lhaso Apso.
She had a marvellous disposition, intelligent, energetic etc. and
almost a human in a dog's body.
I want another dog with the same...

Chihuahua Dogs by
Hello Boss
The Chihuahua is the smallest dog breed in the world and is also the
oldest breed in America. The breed takes its name from the state of
Chihuahua in Mexico where it was discovered in 1850. It is believed

Which breed should I get??? by
[email protected]
I'm really having a hard time deciding which breed I should get. I
love sighthounds and I really like Azawakh, but they are headstrong
and I don't feel I'm ready to own one yet. I was going to get a
different sighthound breed. I really like Afghan Hounds, Basenji,
Saluki, and Sloughi. I've met...

Caring for dogs by
Loving Pets
I am 8 months pregnant and recently my dog started acting very
strange. At first she started sleeping in the bed, right beside me, on
my pillows like a person would. And now in the past few days she has
started whining all the time if I don't constantly sit with her.
Yesterday she started walking...
