Could someone point me to some helpful information.
So much of what I come across seems to have underlying ideology and
secondary motivation. I would love some unbiased third party...

Brittany eating stuff from backyard
Greetings,
There may be no practical solution for this problem, but I'd thought
I'd run it by y'all.
Brittany Spaniel, 9 1/2 years, 29 lbs. Has false hips, but it
has effected her mobility little or none for many, many years
(so far a blessing).

guesstimating a puppy's eventual weight? by
Lynne
I am considering adopting a GSD mix from a local rescue organization.
She is BIG, 55 lbs at 4 months. Her father is a pure GSD and 90 lbs,
mother is a GSD mix who looks very much like a GSD. I don't recall her
weight. When we adopted my current dog, my vet was right on the mark
estimating her...

New to the group(s). by
Dennis Carver
Hi, my names Dennis. I'm an old hat at this Usenet stuff, I have
just been away awhile (got bored with it back in pre-y2k).
I have an 11 month old Shitsu Cross, Jasmin, with a bit of a
rambunctious streak. We are still in the process of training
her, but it can be tiring at times (my SO lets her...

noises from pregnant dog by

We have a Yorkie that should deliver this Saturday... woke me up this
morning with noises coming from her insides. It was loud enough that I
heard them through the bedroom door with a fan running!
When I got closer for inspection... I actually thought it was the pups
making noises. But they...

Questions I need to ask before purchasing a pup... by
damandsave
I was considering buying a Leonberger puppy that's 8 weeks old, but the
pup's paws are turned inward. The breeder claims it was from the dog's
diet, which he's altered. Does this sound possible, and should I avoid
buying a puppy w/ this problem?
Is this a common problem w/ this breed, or large...

My Shih Tzu has red underarms by
Penny
I had written several weeks ago about our 3 year old male Shih Tzu Toby.
During an extremely hot humid spell he developed red underarms. They did
not seem to be itchy, and did not bother him at all, I used
anti-histamine ointment on it for a while and also Gold Bond ointment.
There was little...

Puppy Jumping -- Elderly Lady by
Eva Quesnell
I'm looking for some tips on helping an older lady train a 7-8 month old
blue heeler puppy not to jump on her. I found this little dog abandoned.
I searched for its owner with no results at all. No one is looking for
this little girl. I don't think she'd ever been inside a house before...

golden retriever eye mucous by
[email protected]
4-year-old female golden retriever. Past 5 mornings she has cloudy
mucous in her left eye only. Mucous has no yellow or green color and
it doesn't appear to bother her at all, but this is definitely
something out of the normal. Like I say, it just started about 5 days
ago. I gently remove it...
