Bubba
Hi,
We brought our 6 month old shih-poo to a vet clinic yesterday to have
her teeth looked at (we knew she had some baby teeth that had not
fallen out yet). The vet put her under, took xrays and then talked to
my wife about the results The he proceeded to remove 17 teeth. 5 were
baby teeth that...

Chattering Teeth by
Suja
Khan was taken to the vet for a suspected UTI on Wednesday. He was licking
himself a lot, asking to go out more frequently than he usually does, and I
noticed that he was dribbling a little urine if say, I'm brushing him in
that area (and he wants to clean up, which might explain the licking). ...

My dog has an Rx for 1mg Stilbestrol tablets. I think I paid $40 for 25

Dog with congestive heart failure and collapsing trachea by
Jean
Dear all,
I'm looking for folks to share any experience they've had with both
these diseases. My 12 year old Schipperke/PomX is in slow heart failure
but now has the added burden of a severly collapsed trachea. It's a sad
race to see which gets him first. If you've had any experience with
either,...

Leeroy did something cute by
jerryeveretts
When he gets really excited, he wants to big and chew, a very firm NO
works and he immediatly begings the licking. He will get it your face
and open his mouth and lick/bite/mouth until you yell NO, then it turns
into just licking.
Well I was using the computer in the bedroom and I noticed he...

Dog died by choking while seizing by
[email protected]
Yesterday I came home from work to find my 14 year old Sheltie dead,
with a dress of mine that was lying on the floor down her throat. I
have no other explanation other than she had a seizure, and maybe
started chewing on the dress, uncontrollably swallowing it. She had
been having seizures daily...

Now paying about $5 for 3 oz. of Denta-Clean pet toothpaste from
Petsmart. I mix it with baking soda (as I do for my own Tpaste)
before using.
"Human" Tpaste is lots cheaper. Vet sez to use pet...

kirkland can food, soft stool. by
[email protected]
Has anyone found that the kirkland can food causes soft/runny stool and
gas in dogs?
this is the chicken/rice, lamb/rice cans.
It seems to be the case with my dog, but I'm not really sure yet.

Castrating an Adult dog (cost) by
Frogman
Hello all,
I have a Three year old healthy mongrel dog (about the size of a
Labrador) which requires castration, so I phoned my local vet and was
told this would cost between £200 and £250 which seems a little steep
to me, has anyone had their dog done recently and if so what was the
cost?

Update. Leeroy is becomming a big boy quite fast. He is around 8 weeks

and out with the big dogs. He is eating with the big dogs, and goes
into his crate on command with the big dogs. Sleeping though the night
is no longer a...

Yorkie by
Hedgehog132
We have a 9 year old male yorkie. He weighs right at 10lbs. Within
the past few months he has started this thing where he acts like he is
trying to get rid of a hairball. It's like he is gagging. He never
produces a hairball, but yet he still gags. My wife uses a dropper to
put small amounts...
