"Nylabones" by
A. Brain
Does anyone here recommend them? My mom's new
dog--a wonderful Tibetan Terrier who is just under a
year old--had a bad experience with one. She chewed
it up and it disintegrated, and it looks like she swallowed
the stuff, then spent the night vomiting all over the place.
The vet in a phone...

Yorkie trait? by
Janie

vet suspects pancreatitis.. I can't get him to eat and have been
finding him water and food by spoonfuls.
I'm worried because he is coughing up like a green bile
I feel this is what eventually killed my other tiny Yorkie....

FurPaw
Oppie goes in Monday to have his left eye removed. The retina
deteriorated more than a year and a half ago, with evidence of
retinal bleeds. Last week it suddenly became inflamed, cloudy,
and you could see through the cornea that another bleed had taken
place. And there was sudden onset...

How early for tooth decay? by
Mike S.[_2_]
We have a 13-month old Maltese who we got from a breeder at age 5 months.
At 7 months we had him neutered; at the same time the vet suggested
removing 6 retained baby teeth. He was not happy camper immediately after
that day, but was back to eating his dry kibble in a about 2 days.

Long-term antibiotic use by
Suja

antibiotics in dogs? I realize that drug resistance can be a big issue, but
