Buddy's test results. by
Shadow Walker
Hello every one,
I am posting to update you on Buddy's test results. We have some good news
and some bad news, bad news first.
Unfortunately he is still heartworm positive. Goodnews he seems to be around
4 years old, kidneys and liver are "very good" the vet says. So know
we just have to inform the...

Leba-3 Removed Plaque on Border Collie's Teeth? by
allanc
Our three and half year old Border Collie has quite a bit of plaque on
his teeth.
We bought him from a trainer at the age of two and we have continued
feeding him Precise Foundation (chicken based) kibble.
We feed him about a cup twice a day with one-third cup of green beans.
These kibbles are very...

How to care for very young stray puppy by
[email protected]
Hi all,
I'm currently living abroad and just found a very young stray puppy.
Based on her looks and ability to walk I'd estimate she's about 4 weeks
old, but a malnourished 4 weeks at that (she looks like a 3 week old
puppy).
My question is about what to feed her. Dog food or puppy formula...

chondrosarcoma help by

Hi I had posted help a while back for my dog. After seeing the vet and
getting a rhinoscopy done, all was going good as no cancerous tumors
were found. We the got the dog operated, since now both nostrils were
blocked. Because the rhinoscopy showed that the cartillage between the
nostrils started...

Taking photos of puppies - direct flash?? by
BD
A friend of mine has some 5-week old cocker puppies.
I went over to take pictures.
I did *not* want to flash them directly, so we set up in a well-lit
bathroom, and just did what we could with no flash at all.
The photos turned out alright, but I think that next time I may put a
large white...

10 wk old puppy pants heavily even when it's not hot and he's not exhausted by
tokimonsta
My 10 week old puppy is perfectly healthy, so the Vet says. She
honestly didn't do a very thorough initial examination. Anyway, he
really is healthy and doesn't seem like he's in any pain, but he pants
constantly. Most of the time he doesnt breath through his nose, but
rather through his mouth. ...

Old dog with "night frights" by
Tony Cox
Those who remember the thread 3 months ago, and especially
those who offered suggestions to help him over his troubles will
no doubt be sad to hear that Bernie died quietly at the vets just
before Thanksgiving. He (a collie mix) was 19 years and 8 months,
and had an especially charmed life,...

Need help with severe tail chewer by
[email protected]
Hi all - I really need some way to keep my Great Dane from chewing his
tail. I've tried bandaging it, applying bitter apple / orange to the
bandage - it usually works, but every now and then he chews it anyway,
straight through the bandage and re-opens the same sores over and over
again. His...

I've got a stupid question. I've heard that the mom 'cleans' the puppies.
Does this mean that she cleans up after them when they poop or that she just
grooms them?
