Simple treatment for mange. by Zotin Khuma
Hi, Would anyone like to hear about my experience with a treatment for mange that I've found to be simple, safe, non-distressing, cheap and effective, at least for my dog ? (If you do, please expect a long post). -Zotin

Luke won't eat: Suddenly... Buglady ;and kind? by ZPL
Sidebar: How much anxiety do you think he has picked up from the other in the house? He may have picked up on the "excitement", but does not know what it is about and that has him worried. (Someone once made the comment that herding dogs are the self appointed hall monitors and *need* to...

Plea to small dog owners by ZPL

Pretty good deal by ZPL
From the coupon section of Sunday's paper - advert. for Doctors Foster&Smith dog bed. Both the meds and the larges are $19.99 with $6.00 (in the lower 48). No extra larges. For those that don't live near a nice PetSmart and need to buy a replacement or new bed, this isn't a bad deal. But the time...

Surgery or not for my dog ? by ztk
I'm seeking urgent advice on whether to subject my dog to surgery or not. I live in a remote part of India where there are only a few vets in government service and no private ones. The system of pet health care is still quite rudimentary if not downright primitive. While most of the vets are...

Black speck on eye? (Puggle Pei) by _
Hi, My 8 month old puggel pei (pug, beagle and shar pei) has always had a dark spot in the iris of his right eye. In the last day or so I have noticed what looks like a black speck of dirt on the same eye. It is different from the first dark spot. The first one appears to be down in the iris, but...

My dog turned one in July and she just went into season for the first time. I've heard/read many different things about how long it lasts, etc. I would just like to know how long the bleeding will last for. Thanks in advance. -Victoria

We have a 6 mo old pup and it seems she gets constipated quite a bit. We have tried a variety of things to help her including giving her baby prunes in her food and sitz baths to relieve her. Any suggestions? thanks Bill
