(sirodretep) wrote in message . com... I have a Westie who had stains under his eyes, on his beard and on his feet. When I asked the groomer how she got the stains from under his eyes she said she cut them out with the hair. Then on the Westie group it was suggested that I use only distilled water for drinking water for him and in two weeks no more stains. I found that hard to believe myself but it worked very well. Gen Please tell me - is it possible to remove the dark stains on the fur near the eyes of my bichon frise. And if so - HOW? Not once they're there, except cutting the fur. We eventually had to give our bichon eyedrops from our vet (the thick drops not really liquid more like paste). That helped to a certain extent. But we never were able to stop it. Our other Bichon didn't have this problem. The one that did had a lot of other health problems as well, so the vet thought it might have been allergy related or health related. I've read that sometimes changing the diet can help, I even read one site that claimed it was the hard water that did it, and the owner claimed switching to soft water fixed it. |
