Listen, I hear a lot of whelping stories and while I'm sad
for what happened with the one puppy, I have to say that
overall your experience has gone pretty darned smoothly.
Amazingly smoothly compared to some (with experienced
breeders, too). So mourn the one puppy but keep enjoying
the mackeral of birth and a house full of little spuds.
