Default Bold elbows

I used cider vinegar on my old lab elbows every other day and after 6
weeks his hair got back. He loved to sleep on hard surfaces and that was
way he lose his elbows hair.

My 14 month old BC Doug has bold patches on both elbows (outer sides). I
wouldn't go as far to say I am concerned about it more wondering why. They
don't annoy or irritate him, infact I'm sure he hasn't noticed! My other dog
George has a lot less hair on his elbows but Doug's bold patches are very
dry, though not sore in any way, I never noticed this on any of my other
dogs, my previous Collie was very long haired.

Any comments or suggestions?
