Default Nutro Natural Choice or Ultra Puppy?

Hello,

We have a new puppy and looking for food recommendations. The puppy
is a 4 month old Miniature Schnauzer and we're not happy with the food
the breeder was feeding her (Iams mini chunks) and want something
better and for a puppy.

I have always had good luck with Nutro for large breeds when we had
our Lab.

I'm trying to decide between Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice Puppy
or Nutro Ultra Puppy. Does anyone have experience with these or
recommendations one way or the other?

Thanks,

I only use the Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice for my 4-1/2 year old
Rottweiler, but I adopted her as a 2 year old, so I cannot say what would be
best for a young pup. The Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice is the type of
food that was recommended to me when I adopted my dog, as they told me, it
was easy to digest. I have never had any problems with it.

After more research I have determined that there are better choices
than Nutro. I'm now looking at Canidae and Fromm Family as they
appear to be higher quality foods.

I recently switched to Canidae, so I can't comment on how well my dog
will do on it yet, but I made that choice based on advice from breeders
and dog owners who I trust, and also based on the fact that they do not
use Chinese ingredients or any wheat/rice/corn gluten in the formula I
chose.

I don't know anything about Fromm but I would advise you to find out
where they manufacture their food and where they get their ingredients.

FWIW, this site indicates they manufacture their canned food in China.
