Default Pit shar pei mix 5 yr old female

Please molly has been looking for a new home for almost a year. molly
needs a new home asap. She needs a home where she can be the ONLY pet!
She is a very sweet loving dog and is crate and treadmill trained she
is a beautiful fawn color and about 65 lbs. She has manageable skin
allergies and hair missing on her tail, I think from the allergies.
She does well on leash and loves to swim. I can email pics if
interested.

Negotiable rehoming fee for her protection.

Michelle, have you worked with a no-kill rescue group or no-kill shelter
to get Molly a new home? In most cases you will have to surrender her
to that group/shelter. Your honesty about her allergies (probably to
some ingredients in her food, such as corn, wheat, soy, dyes, or to
something in her environment, such as dust mites or heaven-knows-what
that testing could identify) is certainly appreciated. The skin
problem and loss of hair on her tail could also be due to inadequate
production of thyroid hormone.... an inexpensive thing to treat.

This news group is essentially useless when it comes to placing a
specific dog. It is an international group, established to discuss the
nuts and bolts of running rescue programs.... problems, solutions....
With time, it has become inactive, with probably no more than a half
dozen oldtimers who check it for traffic in a week.
