He did call me once or twice, back in 2007 or 2008. He was upset because
Diddy suggested I take Muttley to one of Pat Miller's "Reactive Rover"
weekends, since her facility is just a few miles from where I go kamping at
the Williamsport KOA. But I was not about to spend $500 for that dubious
privilege.

positive-only world.

Jerry is/was a buddy of Lee Charles Kelley?! Yikes. Kelley has written
some entertaining dog-based mysteries.... and some friends of mine knew
him or of him as a trainer probably 40-ish years ago, up North. They
were based in NJ in those days.... primarily conformation then.

Yeh, I knew Jerry was in Florida. That state has some of the most
questionnable quality nursing homes in the country.... the reason I
mentioned possibly being in one and not having access to a computer.
(When my folks were ready to go into care, we kids dragged them kicking
and screaming out of the state....) I always wondered what in heck that
machine of his was..... I suspected it was some ultrasonic pulse
gadget.... that would distract the dog. Somehow I ended up with a copy
of his training manual, which was interesting......
