Default Shih tzu puppy 'adopted' by Siamese cat mother

As the Asian Century progresses:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...yside-23583314

"A puppy that was rejected by its mother has been adopted by a Siamese
cat whose kittens were born on the same day.

"The shih tzu puppy, named Hope, will stay with the kittens until she
is weaned at about six weeks old."

Has anyone any experience of dogs raised by mammals other than canines
(and other than Homo sapiens)?

(I've seen video footage of puppies kidnapped and raised by baboons.
As adults they seem to have bonded very well to their troop.)

Bob, wondering if there may be something to the "Lambert the Sheepish
Lion" story after all.
