The flooding is going to be a stinker, since the storm is apparently
slowing forward movement. Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia, USA |

Cash finally agreed to get his toes wet to go pee in the yard while Aunti Mabel laughed at him and nosed him away from the big tree dropping branches. He sniffed at the puppy-pad a few times but wasn't despirate enough yet to use it. Sadly we just located 2 dogs left behind when the owners wife was at sea and the husband evacuated leaving them in the yard. They were so quiet, no one knew but I picked up 3 days worth of papers off their lawn to toss farther back so it wouldnt add to our storm drains yesterday. They are now at their next door neighbors back yard with her english bull dog and plenty of water and food. Wife's reply when emailed is not politely repeatable but generally devolves to 'Dan better not ever come back'. -- |

A little good news, Csrol, I think: “Forecast tracks from the long-range GFS and ECMWF models suggest that Bermuda and Canada might be the only land area threatened by TD 12, but it is too early to be confident of this.” http://pajamasmedia.com/weathernerd/ It also says that you received over 20" of rain from Irene.
