Default PeTA kill stats for 2010

People exterminating The Animals is still at it.

"...out of 2,345 dogs and cats they took in under Virginia law as being for
purposes of adoption - virtually all as owner-surrenders, they saved exactly
145 of them - 63 of those being transferred to another Virginia facility and
7 being reclaimed by owner, meaning they did a whopping 44 adoptions in the
entire year."

One of the ladies on a webtv-only ng kept calling or emailing PeTA to
try to get them to pick up a dog from her stupid DIL, and just couldn't
understand why they never responded. Every day, one or another of the
rest of us would respond to her with the bitter truth.... that PeTA
didn't give a rat's tail end about that dog, and if it, by chance, ended
up with them, it'd be executed. She finally started looking around and
found the information we'd been throwing at her, and was shocked to
discover we knew what we were talking about.

No, I'M not surprised, but there are way too many people out there who are
totally ignorant of what PeTA really does.

Wonderful ending but it's sad that too many people never do figure that out.

Agree with that..
Though it's been seen and heard many times, others still don't figured it out. Or maybe get used to it. How terrible.
