Lynn K. -------------------------- Exactly. A couple of years ago I evaluated a BC bitch in rescue who had gotten in 20-25 bites on her foster family the 1st day in their home. The problem was that there were a whole slew of people lined up who wanted her because she was a dynamite herding dog, titled before she was 2, flashy, etc.. Most of these people were single women [editor's note, like Melanie Lee Chang, who would have had ZERO problems with this dog, even though she's 1/10th the trainer Michael is] into competitive herding who had no children or plans to have any. Testing the dog revealed that she had a safety zone of about 3 ft and would use her mouth to drive out anyone who came within that space (other than whoever was holding her leash). After much research, I found out that the dog was never really one of ours, but that a foster home we had briefly used, then fired, took a litter, let most die needlessly, and this was the sole survivor. I got the dog extended 24 hours, sent 6 interested parties to the pound to see the dog, and ran to the pound to let them know the owner's contact info. It turns out that they knew well who the owner was - over 20 complaints against her and the dog had been picked up twice that month. She went to Mexico for a long vacation and left the dog in the back yard, trusting neighbors to throw food over the fence. To make it worse, I evaluated the dog as unsafe, and then the dog went for a kennel worker and was declared unsafe by the pound, and only available to us. The pound would not let the owner reclaim the dog, even if she were available to do so. So that left me with - - a dog with unclear legal ownership - an unsuitable owner who wanted the dog, but couldn't have the dog - an unadoptable dog for the general public - a dog that couldn't go to anyone who would be able to help him - and no foster homes or resources to take him into our rescue program. Subject: When a dog bites From: ^m-ichael Date: Fri, Oct 24, 2003 9:31 AM Message-id: m If Lynn Kill had her way, those dogs would have been dead a long time ago. It's her vision of America. She's got zero tolerance for dog misbehavior (or behavior for that matter). It is all punishable by death. Well, I do not know what her tolerance is, My personal tolerance of violations of dog-related laws is completely meaningless You're intolerance for dogs and their behavior is quite the issue, especially when you blabber on and on as if you're some kind of dog expert. You're not a dog expert. You are afraid of dogs and that's why you got into dog training, to try to control what you fear. Time and time again over the years you have championed the murdering of dogs for trivial reasons. Reasons that you magnify into Code Red urgency so you can justify murdering a dog. You feel that dogs chasing deer HAVE to be shot. You are passionate about it and you will plead your case about how incredibly important it is that dogs who chase deer need to be shot. Go ahead, do it again. LYNN KILL'S PASSIONATE CASE FOR SHOOTING DOGS WHO CHASE DEER ---------------------------------------------- insert here ---------------------------------------------- You're intolerance for dogs seeps through in every post you make. It pours out of you. Nobody gives a crap that your brother got mauled by a Golden Retriever when he was little (no doubt, because he was torturing the dog). It's not our problem. Stop taking it out on dogs. Stop murdering dogs like the Border Collie below and the dog who got lost and so many others that you won't tell us about, because you are trying to make up for your brother getting his face rearranged. BWHAHHAHHAHAHAAAAA!!!! Again, it's not our problem. You are my problem though. You are an enemy of dogs and dog owners and it's my responsibility to expose you for what you are. I hope I'm doing a good job. PS, you're a well documented serial liar and mentally ill basket case, so we cannot trust what you say about what you do. You have lied repeatedly and you have tried to portray yourself as a simple, saintly dog "rescuer" over and over again, but you're also a dog murderer. You just don't talk about that anymore, because you don't like it when I hilight all the dogs you have taken out because of your fear of dogs and your vengeance on the golden who chewed up your brother's face. BWHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! since I have nothing to do with enforcing those laws. Despite what Mikey apparently thinks. My role is limited to trying to get dogs out of the shelter alive, BWAHAHHHAHAHAHAA!!! Your role also includes murdering dogs who are trying to find homes. Take a look at your own words. Remember, You're the one who will "put a biter down as fast as anyone." You're mentally ill. But that's no excuse for being a liar and a dog murderer.
